February Goals: Hit or Miss?
This was a
very art-filled month, I’ve been drawing and drawing! Not much else happened ha
ha
Art
My little
project is coming along, and I have been making so many designs for it. That
is what most of my days have been filled with. Designing little clip arts,
coming up with designs, is a lot of fun but also draining. Husband has told me I
need to take more time for myself and only work on it a few hours a day, not all day, so that is what I have been trying to do.
Art Classes
The
beginning of the month was rather low in activity for my art class projects; I
couldn’t get into it. I couldn’t figure out what textures to draw, and then just
got stuck and had to ask in the cohort for ideas, which helped a lot. I was
able to draw all the required textures. Now, I only have 2 out of 6 shapes left
to draw and create light and shadow with said textures. I am almost done with
that week, and then I can move on, though I might redraw the shapes, just not happy
with the textures. We shall see how it all comes out. I might also not be super
understanding of what is actually wanted from me ha ha
Korean
Korean is
still going great, and I am definitely getting better at making sentences on my
own. I am still struggling with some of the vocabulary, as in I feel like I don’t
have enough ha ha I still want to spend more time on it during the week. I am
just trying to figure out the best schedule for me.
Working out
I have sat on
my Peloton thrice this month, which is kind of sad. I walked a lot more. Kiddo
and I have been walking to get coffee, which is about 1 ½ to 2 km away, one
way. Which has definitely added steps to my step tracker, and that made me happy
to see over 12000 steps for a day. I again want to find a schedule where I can
fit everything in without being in pain and sore to the point where I can’t do
anything else. It’s definitely in need of some balance. I will get there, though, because I MISS YOGA!
Writing
Sadly, no
writing has happened unless it was for my blog. I got a few ideas that are swirling
in my head, but I am unsure why I haven’t written them down. A lot of times, when I finally sit down to do something, I get called away for something else, and by the time I get back, I have either forgotten what I wanted to write or no
longer have the energy/brain capacity to do so.
How have you guys been doing with your goals? Let me know in the comments 😊
