10 Things that make me happy

 

Today I want to talk about 10 things that make me happy 😊 Have you ever sat down and just thought about the things that make you happy? Some may be bigger things that make you happy, for example a new car, and some things might be small, like the new leaf on your plant. These vary from person to person. So, today I will show you my little list 😊

I want to preface that these are in no particular order ha ha

My dog!

I love my dog; he makes me incredibly happy, even though he is a complete handful and drives me insane sometimes. He is a super big cuddle bug, and his cuddles cure everything.

My family

Just like my dog, my family can sometimes be too much, but they still make me happy. I created this little family. Honestly, just this fact often blows my mind. I also incredibly love my dad and brother and miss them every day. This is one of the few downsides of living about 5000 miles away from home.

Stationary

I love stationery, the more pens the better. I have been obsessed with pens since I was a kid and just love anything stationery-related. Though over the years, I have gotten pickier about what I buy. Probably so, I just don’t have a bunch of stuff lying around haha

Space

There is a reason my blogs had a Space Friday segment. I love space, and I have loved everything related to space since I was a kid. Going to the Kennedy Space Center was a major bucket list item that was fulfilled. To have been able to share this with my brother and my dad made it even more special.

Stickers

I love stickers, I just never use them haha My Etsy Wishlist is full of stickers, but I can’t get myself to stick them on something. What if I have to toss it away? What if it breaks? NO, no, no, stickers are to be collected haha

Dice

I am a dice goblin at heart. The more the better. I have 15 sets so far, I believe. At least if I remember correctly and there are many more that I still want to get.

Animals

I am a huge animal lover; wildlife is so interesting and fascinating to me. I always say I want to go hunting without the hunting part. I just want to sit and listen to the forest and see what animals come through. I want to listen to the birds and just enjoy their songs.

Forests

I miss forests, yes, we have them here in my corner of Florida too, but they are filled with Palm trees and Needle trees. I am looking for Beech trees, Oak trees, Maple trees, Birch trees, Horse Chestnut trees, and just so many more. I loved that we had Birch trees in Alaska. It’s another part that makes me miss Alaska so much.

Korea

Korea makes me happy, and I mean everything related to Korea. I LOVE Korean food with all my heart. I love the culture and the language. Korea will always be a part of me because my kiddo was born there, so to me it will always be special.

Coffee

Coffee is love. I love coffee. As a little kid, we got to drink Caro Kaffee. A coffee made from barley and chicory. It is caffeine-free, but when you are 4 and want coffee, lol this is what you got. Coffee and cake are such a big part of my culture. My mother was an incredible baker as well, so we always had amazing cakes and sweets at home. I can go on and on about what coffee and cake mean to me, but I will stop here, and maybe I will talk about it another day.
