February Bucket list

It is already February, time sure flies, or does it not fly at all? How did January feel for you? Was it a fast month or a slow month? Let’s take a look at Februarys Bucket list!

Make a Valentine’s Day treat

Honestly, I am just using Valentine’s Day as an excuse to make something sweet. Lately, I have been having a really big sweet tooth and want sweets every day. This time I want to try out something new. There are so many recipes on Pinterest, and a bunch have caught my eye. So, we shall see.

Grab some Flowers for the house

Kiddo recently bought me flowers, and I have to say they simply set the atmosphere to be so much friendlier and happier. I want to get more flowers for the house. While they have certainly gotten expensive, I think now and then adding a spot of happiness doesn’t hurt.

Celebrate Lunar New Year

I have a little garden flag for Lunar New Year, but I always feel like it doesn’t get the chance to shine since it’s so close after Valentine’s Day. I think this year I will simply put both out. Who will stop me? No one ha ha I love Lunar New Year. I want to visit a really big celebration for it one day. I know the kiddo would be excited to go as well.

Visit our Local French Bakery

I love our local French bakery; it is a taste of Europe here, and I am all for it. I miss the baked goods we have in Europe. They are sweet but not overly sweet, and they are decadent and simply a delight. I love supporting small businesses as well. We have already planned to get our birthday cakes there this year. So good!

Try Fairy Toast

I have never heard of Fairy Toast before, but as I was browsing ye old Pinterest, I came across it. It’s basically toast with sprinkles on it. The kid in me is all excited about trying it. It looks magical, come on now, we all need a little magic in our lives 😊

Family Board Game Night

It is time! We love our board games, but it’s been a minute since we all sat down together and played a board game. Kiddo got a new game for Christmas, and we have been playing that, but it is only a two-player game. We need to have an actual game night. It is long overdue!

Observe the night sky

I love the night sky; I find it incredibly magical and calming. I have always loved the night sky. I could see the window from my bed, as a kid, and would stare at the moon for hours instead of sleeping. We got our kid a telescope for Christmas and haven’t really used it, so I think it is time. It is time to wonder about distant planets and galaxies, time to stare at the moon and all its craters. The night is simply magical.
