Am I a summer person?
Now that summer is officially here, I ask myself a question, and that is: Am I a summer person?
The answer is a little bit complicated because when I was a child, I LOVED summer. I was outside every single day, enjoyed the color of the sunrise, and just enjoyed everything that came with summer, minus the mosquitoes. I loved that it meant we would go grilling at my Grandpa’s Garden ( We had a separate Garden lot away from the apartment; this way, non-house owners were able to enjoy gardening as well). Summer meant watermelon and Iced Tea; it meant loads of grilling, not just at Grandpa’s but also on our balcony ( electric grill). Town festivals, American Football, and so much more.
As I am writing this, I realize that I still love all these things; however, now living in Florida, it is just so hot for me in the summer. I am a little European girl whose tan still looks pale AF. Trust me, it is a tan you don’t want to see my sock tan line, ha ha I do still really enjoy the sunrise and the sunset; the colors of the summer are so magnificent. I do want to enjoy this year's summer more than I have before. I want to try to go outside more, I want to visit the pool more, and I want to bring back summer grilling. But where does this leave the question if I am a summer person or not? The short answer is I believe I am. I am an all-seasons kind of a girl. I try to find good things in every season, tho don’t tell the other seasons, but winter is still my absolute favorite ha ha
