Workout Routine
As I am
heading back into my workouts and I am beginning to have a flow again, I wanted
to let you all know what my routine currently looks like. It will be a rather
simple post as I am not going into every exercise I do, because I believe that
is tailored to each of us completely differently.
Three times
a week, I go on my Peloton. Currently, I am doing low-impact rides, and I am also doing
the “ You can ride” program, as I started slacking off right at the end of it,
and I feel like I need to redo it. Getting out of the saddle right now is tough,
so I need to build up my muscles again. I tend to watch the German language
instructors the most, but I have a few English ones I also like, but hearing
German just makes my brain happy, so I watch the German ones to give me some serotonin
ha ha
At least
three times a week, I also add in yoga, but sometimes I add in more days when I
feel like I need to move my body and stretch. I love Yoga, by no means am I
good at it, but I just love it. It clears my brain a little bit and helps with
my back issues, which have been horrible lately. For the videos, I also use the
Peloton app and have a German Instructor for them as well. Again, brain happy.
Twice a
week, I try to do weightlifting, just to keep my body strong. I do a few different
exercises, of course, I also do squats to keep my quads engaged 😊 I actually don’t mind squats very much. They are kind of my favorite until
you can no longer walk ha ha
Now let’s
talk about some exercise I would love to try, and that is *drumroll* PICKLEBALL!
I keep hearing about it, and the girl I volunteer with at my section always
talks about it. A vlogger I watch also plays it, and it looks like so much fun, BUT I also
don’t want to have to drive super far to play. We have a tennis/basketball
court at our community center, and maybe I will inquire if they also have a pickleball
court. Doesn’t hurt to ask he he
