Weekly Obsessions 6.7.26

 

Hello loves,

My bestie is still here until Tuesday, and I am not ready for her to fly home. It’s been so incredible having her here. This week’s Weekly obsessions are highly inspired by what we have been up to ha ha

Aquarium

We went to the aquarium, and it was so much fun! We found out that they are adding Puffins next year! Kiddo and I cannot wait for them to arrive; we both love Puffins so much. They also got Axolotls now, so cute. We got to touch different animals, and I took a picture of kiddo petting a Stingray that looks like the painting by Michelangelo called “The Creation of Adam,” specifically “Hands of God”. It is a beautiful picture.

Birthday party

Last Tuesday was my birthday, and in the morning we went bowling, played pool, and went to the arcade that sits within the bowling alley. In the evening, one of my friends picked us up for a surprise. First, we went to Gangchu, a Korean restaurant because she knows we used to live in Korea and love the food. There we met up with another friend of mine :) We had so much good food, and of course Soju was on the menu as well! Afterwards, she took us to an old-school arcade/bar where we played Pinball, Dance Dance Revolution, and other games. It was so much fun, BUT the evening wasn’t over there. After they closed, we came back to our house and played Cards Against Humanity, which we have been obsessed with as well.

Cards Against Humanity

It is such a fun game. We have been playing it most evenings and added more and more expansions to it. It is hilarious and messed up at the same time ha ha Glad we got the game and were able to play with my bestie.

KBBQ and Hot Pot

My bestie has never been to a KBBQ place, so of course we took her to KPOT 😊 It was so yummy. We went for lunch, and it was nice and chill; after loads of days of go go go, we needed a day with fewer people and just to enjoy our time together. Going early was a hit for all of us!
