June Bucket list

Today, we are looking at my Bucket list for June and the beginning of summer. YAY.

Summer Playlist

I am growing tired of my playlist. While I love the songs on it, it is time for some more upbeat songs to go on there, and songs that remind me of summer! Let’s do it.

Walk barefoot in  the grass

I love walking barefoot in the grass. I hope to find a nice, fluffy patch of grass to let my feetsies be tickled by it and just take a deep breath, grounding myself. Sometimes it is important to touch some grass. I like to stay inside a lot, but the outdoors has so much to offer.

Make homemade ice cream

It’s been a hot minute since I made homemade ice cream, but I believe it is time. It is time to get into the kitchen and create some amazing flavors. Especially, flavors I have not yet found in the US. In Germany, we have a Lemon Buttermilk Ice cream, which I LOVE. However, I have not had any luck finding something similar in my area. So maybe, I will try to make Lemon Buttermilk Ice cream 😊

Summer vibes in the house

With Spring's end quickly approaching, it is time to change out the décor for summer vibes. Sunflowers instead of wildflowers, blues and yellows this year for me. To be honest, I still have fairy lights in the house, and I really think it is time for me to say goodbye to them for now. My kiddo loves the light it brings to the house at night, but I am getting a little tired of seeing some of them. Ha ha

Make sun tea or lemonade

I need to get a glass sun tea jar to make sun tea, but it’s been a while since we have done it. It’s always so much fun. Of course, Lemonade can’t be missed this summer either. I really want to do more homemade things this year as well. I am getting tired of just buying everything. I miss homemade stuff.

Craft a windchime

I am a windchime lover, but I have never made one myself. Maybe this month is THE month! I want to try to make a natural one as well. Maybe if we are going to the beach, I can try to get some shells, and then create a shell windchime 😊

Celebrate Litha, the summer solstice

I didn’t get to celebrate Beltane as much as I wanted to because the days just pass by me so quickly. I would love to stop for a moment and just celebrate the summer solstice, the beginning of summer. I want my neighbors to be like: “Who is that person?” ha ha

What is on your bucket list for June? Do you have one prepared, or are you going with the flow?
