Word of the year 2026

 

This year, I had a toss-up between two words. One was lean in, and the other was courage. I thought for a while over it and even looked at the definitions to really make sure I am picking the right word for the year. Ultimately, I landed on the word :

COURAGE

Courage is the word of 2026 for me. I learned a lot last year and had a lot of eye-opening moments, while lean in would work too, courage, however, just hits the nail on the head. I need to be more courageous and go for the things I want. Work towards them and be less afraid of the what-ifs and buts. I know some things that I want to do will be scary to do on my own; however, I think it is time to do them.

One main thing I want to try is moving my stickers off of Redbubble and selling them myself, as in having them printed and then me packaging them, etc. It’s a big change, but I think I need to be courageous and just try it out. So many people loved my designs and wanted some of my stickers when I ordered the samples for my little frog. So, I know there is a want there, I just need to do it. There is a lot that will go into it, but I think I am ready, well, I still need to do some research, but you guys know what I mean ha ha

So this year, let’s have COURAGE!
