January Bucket list

 

Hello, my sweet peeps,

Here we are, it’s already January of the new year 2026. Crazy! We have 12 Chapters and 365 pages to work with :) Let’s do this, guys!

I want to share with you all my Bucket list for January :) Let’s get started

Go on a photo walk

Every time we go on walks, or I go by myself, there are so many cute things that I see that I want to take pictures of, such as animals or decorations, etc. But of course, by the time I pull the phone out of my pocket, the cute animal has scurried away. So I want to make an attempt to go on a walk, especially dedicated to photography. I might even take my big camera with me though I bet I will turn up on the neighborhood Facebook page as “ Strange lady with camera.” So, I might make sure I will go to our local lake to take the pictures ha ha

Eat warm soup on a chilly day

We should have some colder days coming, and I love soup. What a perfect mix to have some warm soup and stay cozy. I really enjoy soup. Egg roll soup is delightful, for example, and a family favorite as well! What is your favorite soup?

Declutter

Yes, with the beginning of the year, it is time to say goodbye to clutter and stuff we got in 2025 and no longer need, or just wasn’t what we were expecting. I am definitely going to be doing just that. I love to declutter and do it often. While I don’t quite go full Marie Kondo, I do often ask myself, “ Does it spark joy?” while decluttering. 

Start a Reading Challenge

Every year, Goodreads has a reading challenge, and I always participate. 2024 wasn’t the best year for reading for me for some reason, but last year I managed to complete my challenge :) This year I want to do it again, I always do 1 book a month, which is pretty fair, I think. Between all the stuff going on, I don’t always have time to sit and read. Are you participating in a reading challenge?

Make a Vision board

I have never made a vision board before, but I think I am going to give it a go this year :) Have you ever created one? I am actually not super sure what all should go on one, so I will have to do a little bit of research to see how to actually create one

Make a suncatcher

I am slightly obsessed with suncatchers. While I have yet to have one, I really want to try to make one myself. I love it when the sun hits the gems, and it reflects in rainbows all over the wall. The little twinkles and glitters it creates. Ohhhh I am excited.

Start a fresh journal

This year, I want to try my hand at a commonplace journal. I have no idea how to create one or how to use one, but I am willing to give it a go.
