When pulls the heart...

 Hello friends,

Life does this funny thing of always either getting busy or throwing stones in your way to keep you from continuing things you put your mind to doing. Well, that is what happened to me. But you may be wondering why I keep returning to Nerdy Fox Hollow? Even if it’s been years why do I keep coming back to write in it? Because it feels like home!

Blogging has always been incredibly fun to me, especially when it was still Nici’s Chatter Box, back then I didn’t homeschool and it seemed like I had way more time on my hands then I do now, but I am really trying to get back to writing. It may not be consistent in the beginning but my heart is pulling me back to writing. Why not listen to the heart and do something you enjoy?!

I’ve been reading a lot more lately which is one of the reasons my writing brain has turned back on. I’ve started writing my little stories again, so my heart pulled me back to my blog. I am hoping that I can go back to the way I used to run my blog with multiple posts per week. I know it sounds so ambitious coming from someone who hasn’t written in years but it is never to late to start or start over. We need to give ourselves some grace and just be happy that we have the energy and the drive to do it.
