Hello friends,

Let’s have a look at some of the things that have been on my radar this week.

One| Mountain Views

I miss Alaska so much especially in the darker months of the year because Florida is just so hot all year round and pretty flat to be honest, at least where I am at. I miss seeing the mountains when waking up or driving to the store being surrounded by what seems painted mountains on canvas. I simply long for Alaska lately. Do you ever get that feeling in your heart when you think about something and your heart just longs for it. That’s how it is with me and Alaska 99% of the time. Since I miss the Mountain views so much the backgrounds on my desktop and phone are both Mountains 😊

 

Two| Ambience Videos

I am in love with Ambience Videos! There is something so serene about them. The videos I gravitate towards often feature Mountains, Fall Sceneries or Snow! I love listening to the howling of the wind during a blizzard or listening to rain fall on a gloomy autumn day. The fun part about Ambience Videos is that they also help me concentrate. For example, right now as I am writing this I am listening/ watching rain fall by a lake on an autumn day with fire cracking in the background. I love that these videos also help me calm down, I have pretty bad anxiety, and some days are worse than others but no matter what these ambience videos help me pull back and center myself that I am not so incredibly anxious. I call that a win!

 

Three| E-Reader Inserts

After seeing how many incredibly cute E-reader inserts there are on Etsy, I decided to re-case my Kindle into a see-through case! You can lay these inserts into the case, and you can change your case with the seasons or your interests. I have yet to get one for myself, I am just so horribly indecisive when it comes to things I want to buy. It’s just so hard to decide, should I get a Gilmore Girl one or should I get the seasonal one? And then there are so many different seasonal ones on top of that. Incredibly hard to decide, see! Ha ha

 

Four| Buttons

Buttons, yes simple Buttons. My mom was a seamstress and had buckets full of different buttons which I loved to play with as a kid, somehow now that I am older I have found my love for buttons again. I miss having a tub of buttons laying around. There are so many sellers on Etsy that sell incredibly cute ones too.

 

Five| Mugs from Gaiamika Atelier

I love Mugs, I am a mugoholic, I have more mugs than I need and I can never say no to cute mugs. Gaiamika Atelier is a shop based in Norway which ships world wide and they have the cutest mugs ever. I have not been lucky enough to get my hand on a few of their mugs yet. I am hoping that at restock in November I can get my hands on some designs but I am not 100% sure yet since I have indeed run out of space in my kitchen for mugs. But you guys should definitely take a look at their shop and their Instagram. They are absolutely beautiful and handmade!!!
