Exit The Game Advent Calendar

I know I know; Christmas stay in your lane, Halloween is this week BUT it’s never too early to shop for Advent Calendars. This one is pretty nifty! It’s not only an Advent calendar but also a Mystery Game at the same time!

Every day for 24 days you will get a new riddle to help you get to the final Christmas riddle. How does that work? How do daily riddles help you get to the final riddle?! Well, see every day you get a riddle to help you find the next door to open. There are no numbers on the doors, you only find out which door to open when solving the mystery of the previous day!

We had one of these, but a different theme, last year and it was so much fun to work together as a family to find the solutions for the riddles and to find the hints that are scattered throughout the entire box, and yes I mean the entire box! Every part of this box, the title, the back, the flap, and the inside are all part of this mystery game. You really must look at the whole box to find your clues to then get the answer so you can get the code showing you the way to the next door.

There is a whole story that goes along with the riddles, its not just random riddles that you have to solve, they all play part in the theme of the box. The story is well done, and you get to read part of the story every day! It’s a great time for the whole family to come together and spend time together. You have to work together, sure one could solve it all but teamwork makes the dreamwork and it is 100% needed with this game.

The game is for a little bit older kids as the riddles do get kind of tricky, trust me when I say that we were stumped more than once ha ha  But if you have kiddos that are into mysteries and solving riddles I definitely recommend this advent calendar.
