My favorite Flowers

 

Today I am going to leave you here with some of my favorite Flowers.

Carnations are incredibly beautiful to me even though I know they are often used as mourning flowers but to me they just bring me joy.

Gerbera daisies, I fell in love with then I had my work experience at the flower shop. Gerbera daisies are quite delicate and often need some help standing up and honestly, I feel like that is all of us! We all sometimes need a hand in life.

Hibiscuses seem to be the only plants/flowers that I can genuinely grow. I have 7 Hibiscus plants in my garden and they all bloom like crazy. They are incredibly stunning flowers and even my dog likes them ha ha

Tulips are beautiful and I have always loved them since I was a kid. To me they scream spring and somewhat call in the warmer weather.

Chrysanthemums remind me of Chrysanthemums by John Steinbeck. I’ve read this piece in college and somehow it has stuck with me ever since. There is just something about the story that I could always relate to and I honestly don’t know exactly what it is, however it just gives me that feeling.

Fireweed has become one of my favorites since living in Alaska. In Alaska they show case how much summer we have left. I find them magnificent, and I wish I could plant some here in Florida but they are invasive so I won’t be doing that.
