April Bucketlist

 

Can you believe it’s already April?? I certainly can’t. Time runs way too fast but I feel like I say this every year ha ha Let’s take a look at what is on my April Bucket list

Porch Flowers

Our Porch is pretty shady throughout the day but I would love to have some flowers on our porch, as of right now the only thing on our porch is a small table where my dogs stick bucket sits on. Yes, my dog has a stick bucket where we deposit all the sticks that he brings back from our walks.

Feed ducks

We have a bunch of Muscovy and Mallards that like to hang out at the pond behind our house, they used to come up every morning when I would feed the birds, they love bird feed. But sadly, I had to get rid of my bird feeder and ever since then our routine was broken. I would love to go back to feeding the ducks we have; I loved the friendship we developed.

Learn a new recipe

I would like to learn a new spring recipe, or a new cookie recipe. Secretly I would love to become an amazing home baker like you see on British Bake Off but sadly the baking gene went to my brother and not me ha ha Still, I would love to give it a go and learn something new.

Buy new sandals

Sandal weather is upon us, well it’s been sandal weather here for a while but I was never really a sandal wearing once I became an adult, so I feel like it is time to step back into the sandals and let my toesies feel the fresh air, plus I would like to get my feet tanned because right now I have a sock tan and it is ridiculous ha ha

Open Doors and Windows

While we still have some cool mornings, I would love to use those to open up all the windows and doors that I can and just air out the place. Might be the German in me but fresh air is so important, I always feel like the house is stuffy with the AC on because it’s just recirculated air, yeah that is so German of me ha ha but yeah freshening up the house with fresh air is super important to me

Get a Bouquet of Daffodils

I love flowers and Daffodils are such a Spring flower that I have to try to get my hands on some. I would love to liven up the house with some fresh flowers.

Make some Spring Crafts

I recently saw a pressed flower suncatcher and oh mi goodness I would love to try that out, but suncatchers in general would be so much fun to make. I love the way the sunlight bounces off of them.

Make Lemonade

Confession I have never made homemade lemonade, and I feel like now is the time to do it. Fresh lemonade and sitting outside watching all the ducks play in the pond sounds absolutely idyllic to me.
