Dream Garden

 

Oh gardening time is upon us and I was thinking about what my dream garden would look like. So, I thought I would bring you all along this little fantasy adventure.

My absolute dream garden would have a koi pond with a cute little bridge. I absolutely adore koi fish and have always wanted one or two… or three. Having a pond surrounded by stone and stone lamps would be amazing.

I would also love to have bamboo, but I know they grow like weeds and are kind of invasive and hard to get rid of when you don’t want them anymore. But still bamboo!

I have this these conflicting aesthetics that I want. An Asian style garden but on the other hand I want hibiscuses and flowers I grew up with, cherry blossom trees just colors everywhere. They are such conflicting designs that I am not sure how I would fit them together. Because I love the idea of rock gardens with the pond and the stone lanterns, bamboo fountains, it seems so tranquil. However, I also love an eclectic garden with a neighborhood garden witch aesthetic, flowers everywhere in all different colors. I would also love to try to grow roses, they were my mothers’ favorite flowers. A garden filled with sunflowers to remind me of my childhood. Carnations because they are my favorite flowers. Bougainvillea for my daughter. I can just see a lush garden full of flowers and little garden gnomes. But even in this one I would love to have a Koi Pond, the pond would be the main feature.

Oh, I can’t wait to one day have one of these as my gardens. If I could combine these two styles together, I would be even happier. Do you have any suggestions on how to combine these styles?? What is your dream garden? Let me know in the comments 😊
