Scream Franchise

I’ve been rewatching all the Scream movies that are out so far and I have to say Scream is still one of my favorite movies. It was announced that Matthew Lillard is returning to Scream and I am so excited to see how they are going to do this, if he is actually back or if it is in throwbacks. I am just so stoked.

Date nights

Hubby and I went on a date night this weekend and it was awesome. It is so important to spend time as a couple. Yes we are parents but this whole family started with us so it’s important to spend time together as just a couple. Life gets so busy that sometimes it’s easy to forget to spend time together, especially when kids are involved. So don’t forget to take your time and spend time together as a couple!

Memory Lane

Recently we got a bunch of packages from Alaska that we had stored in a storage unit because it was too pricey to ship them at the time we left. One of those boxes had pictures I took in my teen years and boy oh boy was that a fun walk down memory lane. My kiddo wanted to see them as well, so we sat down and just looked through them. There were a few pictures of my mom as well which made me so happy. Here is your reminder to also walk down memory lane sometimes.

Inks and Wax

I have an awful and weird obsession with inks and sealing wax. I spend countless hours browsing through the web to look at inks and sealing wax. They have so many wonderful colors now, and for the wax the color combos are just magnificent. I really need to just go ahead and buy myself a sealing stamp and some wax to finally get going with it. Not to mention the motives on the sealing stamps, so cute and so hard to decide on what to get.

Anatomy references

I have been sketching a lot lately and really started looking at body composition. I use various how to’s that I have found on Pinterest. However, there just aren’t enough so I am currently looking into books that will help with that. I tried my old method as well where I would just draw without shapes and now that I have started using shapes it has become 10 times harder ha ha
