My least favorite chore

 

Hello all, 

With spring cleaning being on all of our minds, I want to talk about chores and specifically the chores that we don’t like, and by we, I mean myself ha ha. My most despised chore of all of them would be …. Drum roll please…. Doing the dishes! 

Yep, I hate doing the dishes. My hands get all shriveled up afterwards, and I just don’t like the feeling of that at all. I have to lotion them up right away, or I can’t touch anything. It is a texture nightmare. We do have a dishwasher, but it takes forever and is super loud. Since my mother-in-law lives with us, we made the deal that she does the dishes, while I clean the house. This way I don’t have to do the dishes ha ha 

I am also not a fan of doing laundry, and it isn’t so much the getting them in the wash part, it’s the folding and hanging up part. I have learned to make it more manageable and more “fun”. I now dump all of it on my bed, turn on a YouTube video, and just fold as I watch the video. Tokki, my dog, loves to help out and lie right on the freshly folded laundry, or he likes to steal my socks and bras. 

Cute story, he loves to help with laundry, and as I get it out of the dryer into the basket, he comes up and picks a laundry piece out and carries it to the room. He does this every time I let him follow me into the laundry room. He he 

He is such a precious dog!
