April Bucket list

April is here, and today we should take a look at my Bucket list for the month :) Are you ready?? Let’s go!

Buy a floral dress

This might be self-serving, but I am going to a Volunteer luncheon that is luau-themed, so, of course, I have to buy a new dress to fit the theme. But even if you don’t have a need to buy a dress, it’s cute to have a wonderful spring floral dress on hand.

Feed the ducks

I think this will forever be on my bucket list. I love feeding the ducks! But when you do remember that bread is bad for them! Instead, give them some thawed peas or oats. And yes, you heard that right, bread is bad for them. I once saw my neighbor feeding the ducks chips! Not sure if that was such a great idea! Another neighbor feeds them cereal. I sometimes buy duck food so they can have the nutrients they need. :)

Paint

I am really into painting again, so this part might also be self-serving ha ha. Spring is lovely and full of great muses for paintings; there are so many things blooming and returning that can spark your imagination. It is really wonderful!

Make a fresh salad

I love salad and will never say no to a delightful, fresh veggie salad. We often put some chicken into it for added protein, but the fresh taste is absolutely perfect for spring.

Buy new sandals

Ha ha here we go again. I need sandals that match the new dress, of course. Granted, I don’t have many sandals, if you don’t count crocs or wannabe platform Birkenstocks, then I have none ha ha. Don’t think Vans would go well with a floral dress, well maybe BUT there is a time and place, and a luncheon is not the one ha ha

Create a new spring playlist

I often get tired of my playlists because I tend to put my favorite songs on them or the favorite ones of the time I make the playlist. After hearing it day in and day out, I do get tired of some of the songs, so now is the best time to create a new, fresh playlist!

Enjoy a meal outside

Now that for a lot of you the weather is starting to get nicer (I hope), it is the perfect time to take a meal outside and have a little picnic or just lunch outside in the garden. I should definitely do that with my family before we get to the part of the year where it is way too hot to be sitting outside.

Mail a letter

When was the last time you actually mailed out a letter?? I always do for Christmas, but that is it. I want to start sending more letters. I know emails and texts are so much faster, but there's something so much more personal about a handwritten letter.

Say yes to spontaneity

This one is a tough one for me. I like to prep myself, especially if it is a further drive. I don’t like doing that out of the blue. It spikes my anxiety, BUT I am willing to give it a go.
