Weekly Obsessions 10.5.25

 

Happy first Sunday of October! How are you guys? Did you all arrive in October safely? I hope you all did. Let us take a look at my current obsessions!

Fountain Pens & Ink

The fountain pen bug has found me! I have used fountain pens when I was in school back in Germany all the time, but as I got older opted for pens. But recently I have been looking at all the beautiful inks on the market and couldn’t help but get a new fountain pen! I also want to get some new inks, but I am not sure yet because, due to recent events, the shipping costs have gone up a lot, so I have to do a little bit more thinking on whether or not I will go for the inks or not.

Silent Hill F

I don’t own it myself because I just haven’t really felt like playing video games, but I have watched Gab Smolders’ playthrough of the game, and omg I love it so much. I am also planning on watching 8-BitRyan’s playthrough! It is just so good!

Dill flavor

I think I am obsessed with dill-flavored things. I just found spicy dill Chex mix, and I had to buy it and try it lol. I also really LOVE fried pickles. Now, the funny thing is, I am not a huge fan of dill pickles themselves LOL, but the dill flavor I absolutely love.

Skincare

Recently, my husband came to me and said he wanted better skincare. He liked the way my skin looks, and I mainly use Korean skincare, so off we went to buy my husband a whole new routine. This sparked me to revamp mine as well and get a few new things. So, this week I have been slightly obsessed with skincare, and so has my husband. Just making sure we use the right things for our skin types and using the things that will help us get to our skin goal.

The hunt for Stationery shops

Yes, you read that right. I am currently also on the hunt for awesome stationary shops that are local, sadly, so far I have only found ones where I have to drive for at least 45 minutes. I know not the end of the world, but I just hoped to find some that are closer. Secretly hoping the town I live in gets a little cooler with cozy places, but alas, what are you going to do? Maybe open my own shop??? Mhzzz, that would be pretty amazing, though I don’t think that is in the cards right now.
