October Bucket list

October, October oh you beautiful month, this month is all about spookiness and coziness 😊

Candlelight Dinner

Now that days are getting shorter and it’s getting dark earlier, we can enjoy some candlelight dinners, plus it is fun to not have the “big light” on. It’s so much nicer when it is a little darker. You can even turn this into a date at home with your significant other. A beautiful candlelight dinner.

Soup night

Talking about dinner, the season for soup has arrived. A fun way to have soup night is by inviting friends or family over, and you just have soup together, or even cook the soup together, and it becomes a fun fall activity!

Pumpkin and cinnamon baking

While we are still in the kitchen, let us talk about pumpkin and cinnamon. First of all I love cinnamon so much. And pumpkin is in season, so why not bake with both of them? There are so many things that can be made with these two, from Pumpkin pie to Pumpkin bread, and to bring back the soup, you can also make pumpkin soup. I know, I know that’s not baking. I just wanted to give you all a soup idea :P

Spooky Stories

It’s time for spooky storytelling 😊 Or you can even read spooky stories! As a kid, my parents had a book about spooky stories from Poland and the region my parents grew up in. I loved the book so much, I think it was the beginning of my love for all things spooky. There are many classic horror books and many new ones that are out as well. Definitely check them out and get into the spirit of the season.

Scary Movies

One thing that can’t be missing during October are the scary movies. Watch the classics, watch the B Movies that turned into comfort movies, or watch some that you have not yet seen. Enjoy the season. I will probably rewatch Halloween and Scream because Scream is my favorite movie. One of them, I should say. Bonus for watching scary movies is that you can wrap yourself in a million throw blankets and watch from an amazing blanket fort!

Pumpkin carving

To get ready for Halloween, we can’t forget the carved pumpkin! So, of course, that has to be on an October bucket list 😊

Handing out candy on Halloween

My kiddo will be at a friend’s house like every year for them to go trick-or-treating together. So, I will be sitting outside, handing out some candies to the kiddos. I am curious to see how many KPop Demon Hunters I will see this year ha ha
