October Goals: Hit or Miss?

my dears,
It is time
for another round of monthly goals. Let’s see how I have been faring in October.
I’ve managed
to draw up a couple of new sticker designs for frog 😊 I have also decided to order some sample stickers from two different
companies, and oh my goodness, was it crazy to hold stickers of my own designs in
my own two hands. I am still trying to test out some other companies (finding
them isn’t as easy as I thought), and I am hoping to get away from Redbubble
sometime in the future. We shall see what the future holds.
Korean has
been going well; I can translate more and more and understand the texts
in the textbooks much better. There are
still some parts where I struggle, which I think is pretty natural for learning
a new language, but all in all, I am happy about my accomplishments so far.
Workouts
have been going well. I have been working out more at home with the Peloton and
some weights. I really enjoy the classes Peloton offers, and I really love that
I get to do classes in German; my brain is so happy about that. I’ve been
trying to eat better as well, not changing my whole diet but adding healthier
snacks and maybe substituting healthier alternatives that are more protein-rich,
because the hubby and I have realized that we simply don’t eat enough protein
for our muscle build-up. Yes, we do drink protein shakes, but in our meals, we
need to add more protein; therefore, I have been looking at snack recipes that
have more protein built in. It’s sort of exciting figuring things out and
trying new recipes.
How have you guys been doing this month with your goals? Any milestones to celebrate? Or was it more of a low month? Still celebrate yourself! It is still an amazing thing that you are working on yourself, even if this month just wasn’t the greatest.
