Place I want to travel to but haven’t been yet...

 

If you haven’t guessed from the name of this blog, I am a bit of a Nerd/Geek, I mean some of my blog posts should have clued you in on that as well.

One of my all-time favorite movie series that I have watched a bunch of times is The Lord of the Rings! I’ve read the books when I was younger and literally have seen the movies more times than I can count. I would almost also venture to say that it is a comfort movie series though I can’t have it on in the background because I wind up watching it instead of doing what I am supposed to do.

I have watched the behind the scenes and the extras just as many times I feel than the movies themselves. I find the artwork behind it incredible! The costume design is chefs kiss. The stunning scenery. Oh, my goodness, The Lord of the Rings is simply the whole package.

This brings me to New Zealand. I would love to travel to New Zealand, go visit Hobbiton and cry my eyes out. I would love to adventure and visit some of the places they filmed at. To me New Zealand is absolutely breathtaking aside from being such a big part of The Lord of the Rings! Maori Culture to me is also incredible. I hope that my fear of flying gets better and not worse like it has been because I would really love to visit New Zealand in this lifetime and experience the incredible culture, eat amazing food and visit the places that will bring me to tears of joy!
