June Goals! Hit or Miss?

 Can you believe we are already at the end of June? I think time is just flying by way too fast! But nonetheless we are here to chat about my monthly goals and how I have managed them so far.

To my surprise, I have actually gone much better with drawing this month. I had a lot of ideas and motivation to continue my little frog series which shameless plug you can find at hallyuheaven.redbubble.com 😊 Some of the ideas are things that will come out later, but a lot of my designs are already up on my Redbubble. I would appreciate it if you guys could just check it out and see if something catches your eye 😊 But yeah. I am really happy with my drawing progress. However, I have not sketched in my sketchbook all the drawing I have been doing was straight into procreate.

I have been studying a lot lately not only my Korean but also coding. As I have mentioned in a previous post, I am really enjoying it and am contemplating doing it professionally. I still have a little bit to go but I am hoping that I can get better within the year to then hopefully find a company willing to take a complete beginner. Coding really is a lot of fun, it’s not easy and I still get nervous when new things get introduced and I have no clue how to add them to the code but that is why there are amazing resources out there to help and learn.

Talking about Korean, I have a few other textbooks that I got before I started having a teacher and I have been going through those as well as Duolingo. Yep, I started Duolingo again. Sometimes Duolingo is really hard because it teaches different words than what my teacher taught me so I have to ask my teacher a lot of questions to clarify what Duolingo actually means. But I think it is also good using other resources and seeing how other textbooks teach so I can then go back and ask questions and learn even more.

I think June was a big success for my goals and like I have said over and over it is okay if a month isn’t going well because you will have other times that will work out pretty perfectly.
