October Goals: Hit or Miss?
The month has flown by, and we are at the end of it once
again. October is almost over; we only have Halloween left! Crazy to think that this year is almost over. But nonetheless, you are here for my
October goals! So let’s get to it
Working out
Yup, unless it was battle games at park or walking the dog, it
didn’t happen. I had my mind set on it, but then life was life-ing, and it got
stressful, and yoga fell by the wayside. Which I am actually really sad about. I
need to figure out how I can incorporate it even when life gets busy.
Journaling
Journaling I was really adamant about doing. I need that
time to let everything out of my brain and write it down. I have noticed that
it really helps my anxiety once I release it from my head. I can work through
things as I am writing down stuff that happened that day, and I can also
reexamine the day. If I felt sad or depressed, I can look at the day and really
see: Was the day actually that bad? It really helps. So now to try to do the
same with working out.
Korean
Korean classes have been going fine; we are getting into
some harder things, and I need a little extra help. I wish I could have class
every week, but it’s just not possible at the moment. I also need to be more
adamant with myself about getting study time in. I really want to take the
TOPIK test next year, but we will see.
Drawing
Drawing has been going very well. I’ve been working on a
project with my husband, so I have been drawing a decent amount. I already have
all the designs ready for the Winter Update on Etsy for Moonberry Market :) So
I can’t wait to show you guys those. I really enjoy drawing. I need to do it
more for fun than just work, but again I will need to try to carve out some time
for it.
As you can see, things are going, but one of the things I have
realized is that I need to make more time for the things I enjoy and want to
work on. It worked for journaling; now I need to make it happen for the other
goals.
How about you all? How were your goals going in October?
