May Goals: Hit or Miss
Hello
loves, here we are again at the end of the month. Let’s all check in to see how
our goals have fared this month.
Korean
I still
love Korean. I just want to spend more time on it outside of class. I need to figure out how, as some resources I have used before no longer work for me. I just learn so differently now,
because my class is kind of fast-paced. While we take our time, we do move through
the textbooks at a decent speed. I might work in some of my other textbooks, but
then it mixes things differently. Hm, I will have to figure that one out.
Art
Art is
going, but I am feeling a block coming on. OR I just have too many ideas, and
my brain can’t put them in categories that I then focus on. So, it’s been a
little rough. I have been using my sketchbook a lot more lately. But my iPad
has felt a little lonely. However, I did start making little chibi character
faces or friends and family, and I am thinking about opening up commissions for
those 😊 I had my first commission this
month, and it made me so happy, which in turn made me want to open them up for
others as well. We shall see. Hubbster says I should do it when I feel
comfortable, but I feel that if I wait until I am comfortable, I will never open
commissions because of my anxiety brain. I might practice a little more and
then open them up.
Workout
The first
half of the month was dry when it came to working out, but I have found my way
back, and I have been more consistent. I just have to do it before my brain has
time to actually think about what needs to get done in the day. Before I turn
on my brain full throttle ha ha. Otherwise, I will forget about it.
Writing
Because of
the upcoming block, I have found it hard to sit down and write. Whether
that is stories or one-shots. Which makes me a little bit sad. So, I hope that
I can get out of this little funk I seem to be finding myself in.
How have your goals been doing?
