3 Tips to enjoy the little things
How can we
enjoy the little things in life? I often think that life is so full of big
moments and things that happen that we often forget that little things exist, or
for that matter, that they can indeed have a large impact as well! So let’s look
at my little list 😊
What does that mean, you wonder? It means putting the phone away and actually being present in the moment. We often spend so much time on our phones, during dinner (a no-go in my house), when outside for a coffee, or at other times. That we simply don’t notice the little things that can bring joy.
2.
Schedule
time for yourself
Make room in your busy schedule to have time for yourself, sit in the garden, and take it all in. Or read a book and really pay attention to the setting. Do something for yourself and enjoy the moment!

Slow
down
Life is always so fast-paced that we forget to actually stop and
literally smell the roses or stop and look at that little bumblebee sleeping
in a flower pod. Life can be hectic, and I get it, trust me, but we need to
learn to stop and take a break.
I know this list wasn’t very long, but these are key things to finding these little things in life that we often miss. Remind yourself to stop. See something that brings you joy, but you are in a hurry, walking into the grocery store, just stop for a brief moment, take a deep breath, and enjoy what you are seeing. For kiddo and I it’s often the sunsets at the grocery parking lot. For some reason, they are always so gorgeous. So, we take that moment to look at it, snap a couple of pictures, and then we are on our way. A minute of stopping isn’t going to hurt, just don’t do that while driving! Ha ha
