Weekly Obsessions 12.21.25

 

It’s the weekend before Christmas, and all through the house, everyone is excited to open their gifts. Ha ha, I am super duper excited for Christmas. I always love seeing my kiddo’s eyes when she opens her gifts. Can’t wait.

DnD

I joined my very first one-shot 😊 It's taking place today, and I am super excited but also nervous. The only experience I have with DnD is a few sessions with my family. So meeting new peeps and learning how to play makes me a wee nervous, but I bet it will be fun.

 Pretzel

I’ve been obsessed with Pretzels, not the hard snack kind, but the good kind, lol, but the one you heat up in the oven. Oh, my word. I have always loved pretzels, and I mean, there is nothing better than a German pretzel, BUT I will make do with what I can find here, and it's so good. We made some on Friday night, and I put butter on after every bite; it was just so good. I should really try to make them from scratch sometime.

French Bakery

We have a French bakery close to where we live, and I am in love. The pastries taste so much more like what I grew up with.  The coffee is also amazing. Yesterday we spent a good amount of money there, but it is just so good. It’s hard to explain, but I much prefer their pastries over what you can buy at Publix, for example.

Rum Nut Bread Pudding Ice Cream

Publix has this limited Rum Nut Bread Pudding ice cream, and I am not kidding you, I bought a few to have in the freezer in case the limited time runs out. I love bread pudding in general, and rum is my favorite. Mix those two together, and I am in love. The ice cream is so good. I wish it were a regular thing and not just a limited-time one. How do they say all good things must come to an end ha ha

This week, I didn’t obsess over too much, to be really honest. So there are only four things on the list this time. Let me know what you guys have been obsessing over I would love to hear it.
