The traits of my MBTI
Last week, I talked about 5 qualities I admire about myself and also asked my husband for qualities
he would say fit me. This made me think. I took an MBTI test a while back, and my
MBTI came back as INFP, the mediator.
Let’s look at what 16Personalities is saying
about INFP:
“INFP (Mediator) is a personality type with
the Introverted, Intuitive, Feeling, and Prospecting traits.
These rare personality types tend to be quiet, open-minded, and imaginative,
and they apply a caring and creative approach to everything they do.”
When looking at this and having read the whole thing about
INFP, I came to the conclusion that it describes me pretty accurately.
I am generous, open-minded, creative, passionate, and often idealistic. My weaknesses are that I often self-isolate, I have trouble
focusing, am vulnerable when it comes to my emotions, and love to please people, which really is a weakness. I apologize a lot, even when things are out of my
hands or not my fault.
I think it’s crazy that these tests can come out so
accurately. What do you guys think about tests like the MBTI?
This post is in no way, shape, or form sponsored by 16Personalities; I simply came upon them when taking the MBTI test.
