Wreath Crafting
In a
previous Weekly obsessions post, I talked about Moon wreaths, and I would
really like to create more wreaths on my own. My mother used to always make the
wreath for our door; she would even use real wheat for our summer/fall wreath,
and it looked absolutely stunning. Over the years, I have tried to make Advent wreaths, but they just don’t turn out quite like I imagine them to.
This is a
skill I would definitely like to try to foster and get better at. Crafting. I
used to craft a lot as a kid, because my mom was a big believer in crafting and
making things yourself, but as I got older, I stopped doing it, and honestly, it
shows haha
The Moon
wreath would definitely be something that I want to try to create. Or even a
new Christmas wreath if we want to be more realistic about how long things are
going to take me to make ha ha I am just being honest here.
If you are
interested in moon wreaths as well, definitely check out Pinterest; there are
some absolutely beautiful ones out there.
I am going
to continue to gather things in my save for later cart to see if I can manage
to get over my fear of failure and just order the supplies to start creating
one. This is definitely one of my downfalls, the fear of failure. My stuff
always has to be perfect, and if it doesn’t turn out the way I imagined it, I feel
sad and disappointed, but that is a thing that I need to work on. Maybe a wreath
can be the start of this journey.
What about you? Is there something you would like to work on? Doesn’t have to be craft-related, it can even be related to a new skill you would like to learn. 😊
