Weekly Obsessions 9.14.25

Hello all,

How are you all doing? How did this week treat you? I hope everything is going alright for you. Let’s see what I have been obsessed with this past week. To be really honest, the week flew by so fast so I don’t fully remember what else I have gotten up to besides the gym and work. Ha ha

Books

I am currently really loving physical books again. I have bought more than I really need to at the moment, because my reading time is very little, but I absolutely love having them on my nightstand. Don’t get me wrong, I still love my eBooks and have my Kindle on my nightstand as well, but there is just something about physical books.

Yoga

I started Yoga again a couple of weeks ago, and oh my goodness, am I glad I did. I am still a super beginner and use a lot of flow videos or back-strengthening videos, but it feels so good. I am currently trying out the Peloton App to use with my bike, but I am also trying out the other videos.

German Instructors for Fitness

Yes, this goes with my previous point. In the Peloton app, there are a lot of German instructors, and oh my goodness, is my brain happy. I am really enjoying them, and my brain loves hearing German again to the point where it just makes the whole workout extra fun.

Journaling

This week, I really got back into Journaling, and I love it. I just wish my hands wouldn’t hurt so much when writing. My hands have gotten worse since getting the new job at the warehouse. But I love journaling, I love writing and decorating my planner and journal. Talking about planners…

Hobonichi Cousin

My Hobonichi Cousin came in. This year I only went with the Hobonichi Weeks, but for next year I really want to use both; however, I still need to try to find a Weeks for next year. Things sell out so fast. I hope I can still get my hands on a Weeks, or I will just have to use my Hobonichi Cousin by itself, which wouldn’t be the end of the world. But I like the small layout of the Weeks. We shall see 😊

Commonplace Book

I am currently doing a lot of research into different ways to journal and one of the ones that I keep seeing is a commonplace book. I really want to try having one, I am just looking into what it all entails. How do I set it up etc? Do you guys have a commonplace book? If yes, how do you use it? I would love to know.

Friends, I wish you all an amazing week with only good things. Remember, it is okay to take breaks, it’s okay to relax, you do not have to be go-go-go at all times. Enjoy the little things, stop to hear the birds sing and smell those flowers 😊
