September Goals: Hit or Miss?
Another month
has passed, and today we are looking at my goals and seeing whether or not they have
been a hit or more of a miss. This month was rather interesting because I switched
up my work schedule a bit. So it left a bit more time for other things, though
those other things turned out to be the gym and workouts haha
Let’s talk
about my art journey first. I actually found myself grabbing my sketchbook more
this month and simply started drawing little doodles in it just to get my hand going.
My iPad, on the other hand, has not seen any drawing action. It’s just easier for
me at the moment to use traditional media. I still feel like I am in a bit of a
slump when it comes to art. I really wish I wasn’t, but I am also having a
little bit of imposter syndrome where I feel like I can’t actually draw. So,
yeah, that is where I have been when it comes to art.
Korean, I
have been keeping my weekly lessons with my teacher, but I have found it hard to
study on my own lately. I don’t know if I just feel overwhelmed or what it i,s
but I am trying to do better this coming month.
Workout-wise, I have been doing well. I go to the gym 3 days a week and then work out at home, alternating between Cycling and Yoga, on another 3 days a week. I also have one rest day, where I stretch at least. So it has really been going
well, and I am honestly proud that I have been sticking with it and have not
dropped off.
As you can see, my goals have been a hit in some regards but in others more of a miss, and again it is totally okay. How have you guys been doing with your goals for the year?
