May Bucketlist
As I have mentioned in my mood board post, I would like to
enjoy the sun a bit more in May. Carefully of course and with lots of sunscreen
because the sun is stronger than we sometimes think, and we have to take care
of our skin.
Long walks by the lake
I have told you all about the “fitness” trail we have in our
neighborhood that is around a lake. I would like to make use of that trail more
and get some exercise in. It’s a beautiful trail especially during sunset when
the sun reflects off the lake and before it gets hotter I would really like to
spend more time there.
Eating outside
Again, fitting with the theme of being outside more I want
to eat some meals outside, we have a massive oak tree in our backyard that is
providing shade, and I would love to eat outside enjoying the view of the ducks
in our pond.
Feeding the Ducks
Talking about ducks, I would like to get back to feeding our
neighborhood ducks. I used to do it all the time until I had to take my bird
feeder down for Milton and just never put it back up. So, my morning routine
wasn’t the same anymore, so the ducks moved on. But I still love them, and they
love bird seed, I even bought duck feed for them 😊 Definitely want to get back to fostering the
relationship with the ducks.
Photography
I pulled my DSLR camera out of the closet as I wish to take
photography back up. I use my phone camera a lot, but I want to see what I can
accomplish with my “big” camera. And with the ducks, turtles and now bald eagles
that hang around our back pond, what better time to start than now?!
Flower Bouquet
It’s been a while since I have had a flower bouquet in the
house and I think it is time to get one, to liven up the house a bit and to put
on our table before our big gaming table is coming back. A last hoorah to our
current table haha
Walking barefoot in the grass
I used to walk barefoot all the time but some time I just stuck to wearing socks and shoes (no shoes in the house lol) but I would really love to ground myself a little bit and just enjoy the tickles of the grass on my feetsies. Standing outside, in the sun, eyes closed with bare feet in the grass is something so simple yet special too. It can be relaxing and feel renewing. Especially if the wind is a paid actor and the breeze sweeps through as well. Perfect to take some deep breaths and let the anxiety be washed away. The more I talk/write about it the more I realize how much I am missing doing this.
