Forest Aesthetic
As a kid we had a big forest close to the house, we spend a
lot of time in it on walks, in Winter we skated on the lakes that were within it.
I love the forest, the forest has something mysterious to me. That is what is
reflected in my mood board.
As I got older, I started to love the darkness of the
forest, the forest is alive even in the dark parts. We have squirrels and birds
calling the forest home, even fungi live within it. I love how lively the forest
is, new growth on trees, small flowers bloom from beneath the leaf covered
floor. Lichen and moss growing on trees.
There is also something so calming about the forest. It’s a wonderful place to take some time to think and relax. The more I think about it the more I realize how much I miss a good old forest. Filled with different trees and flowers, all the wildlife that calls it home. I miss taking a walk on the crunchy leaves dodging the mud from the rain the day before. The earthy smell of it as well. I miss forests filled with Oak, beech, birch and other types of trees.
