Spring Self Care Ideas
Witch Spring having officially started I am here to remind you to take care of yourself. It is time for Spring Self Care, it may look a lot like self-care you practice in the other seasons. However, I feel that Spring is time for renewal, it is the time to look at our routines and maybe switch them up a bit.
Soring is the time where we start getting more light and say
goodbye to the darkness that fall and winter bring. Therefore, we should refresh
ourselves, our home, and even our car.
The first part of self-care is to get your house all refreshed,
while not a lot of fun to many people it is important to keep our homes clean
because it can definitely lift our spirits when our house smells nice and
fresh.
Same goes for your car, it is time to get that bad boy
cleaned and refreshed. Maybe even add some cute seat covers or neck cushions so
when you get into your car, you will see the cute things you put in and smile,
lift those spirits 😊
Make time for yourself! Take at least 10 minutes just to
yourself, maybe, journal or meditate, or even just sit in quiet. Life gets so
busy that it is important to stop for just a moment and take a breather.
The weather is getting nicer and warmer so now is the
perfect time to start going for walks, I need to use this time before it gets
crazy hot and get my walks in as well. Enjoy nature and breathe in the fresh
air.
Journaling. I know I say it a lot but journaling can really
help getting those thoughts that don’t want to leave out of your brain. Write
down what’s on your mind, it really helps releasing thoughts and work through
things really. Sometimes, things also make more sense when we put them on paper
and can see things more clearly.
Gardening can be a great thing to do in Spring as well,
watching flowers grow from a seed to a beautiful flower can definitely lift
your mood. It is such a nice feeling when the things you plant grow.
Go out for coffee, either
take yourself out for a nice coffee date or have a get together with a friend.
Use this time to get out of the house and experience new things, chit chat with
friends, and go on adventures.
These are just a few ideas for Spring Self-care- remember to take care of yourself!
