March Mood Board

 March is already here, and I feel like time is just flying by way too fast. I usually say that my favorite season is Winter but the other day I came to realize that I quite like Spring as well. Florida is already getting warmer, and flowers are blooming left and right. When I walk Tokki (my dog) in the mornings I am accompanied by birds chirping their happy morning tunes. Spring gets a different scent in the air, and I don’t quite know how to explain it. I just took a deep breath in and felt at peace.

As I listened to the chirps while taking our walk, I just thought “ I like this”, and images of childhood came rushing by of things that were blooming back in Germany when spring was starting to arrive. So many happy memories.

For my mood board I filled it with floral imagery and animals, because spring means the season of love is returning for the animals, bunnies will happily hop around the yards, just like the ducks that always hang around the yards and the big pond we have in the back.

Birds are going to take up residence in our trees again and maybe we get lucky to have a nest in our tree this year. That reminds me I should buy bird feed again because the ducks quite like it as well, and it is just so nice to see all the wildlife congregate in the yard happily munching on some food.

My husband’s birthday is coming up in March as well so of course I couldn’t forget to bring that into my mood board. This year we have decided to go out for his birthday, which we usually don’t really do but we want to spend some time together as a couple like I have mentioned in one of my On My Radars, that it is incredibly important to still spend time as a couple after having kids. Remember the family started because of two people and you can’t forget to nurture that relationship.

St. Patrick’s Day is coming up as well, while I don’t majorly celebrate it, I love the colors and our river being turned green. It is just a fun holiday. It is also fun to look for 4 leafed clovers.

Have you guys tried creating monthly mood boards? It is a lot of fun for me because I get all the cozy feels thinking about the month ahead.
