November Bucket List

It is time for our November Bucket List. NOVEMBER, can you believe I just said that??

Crazy, I am trying to soak up the last months of the year with all my might. I hope they will go by slower, but I have a feeling they will fly by super fast

Make hot Cocoa

We have had some cool nights now, and this is the perfect time to get all the hot cocoa goodies out and enjoy a nice cup with loads of marshmallows or even with some cayenne pepper because that is my favorite!

Holiday Shopping

In my opinion, it’s never too early to start Christmas Shopping. If there is a good deal on something you want or your kids have on their list, grab it; don’t wait!

Play board games

Cozy evenings also mean it’s time for family board games. We have so many and haven’t even played all of them. Also insane to think about, ha ha Grab your favorite board game or something new and get to it he he. You can also drink hot cocoa while playing.

Feed the Squirrel and Duck Army

It is that time when squirrels are starting to bury their food, so why not give them some treats to bury. I also love feeding the ducks; they love Oats. Make sure you are getting food for them that is okay nutrition-wise; don’t feed ducks or swans bread!!! I like to look at what they can eat safely and feed them that. I had even bought duck food before, but they were not fans of it ha ha. Squirrels love different nuts; ours just love food, to be honest. Bird feed, yes please LOL

Make pancakes

This seems so simple, but I haven’t done it in a while. Make pancakes for the family on a misty, cool morning. With some nice maple syrup. Delicious.

Read in a blanket fort

What makes cozy days even cozier? Blanket forts! Yes, grab all the blankets and create a fort, then throw pillows in there, an extra blanket or comforter, grab your favorite book, and off you go into your blanket fort for reading. OH, that sounds amazing!!

Make a simmer pot or Kompott

I love simmer pots, but I also really like making Kompott, which is a warm or cold drink where you cook fruits in sugar and water with spices. Apple is my favorite. In summer, we always had Cherry Kompott; I wish I knew how to make that! Sadly, my memory is blurry and I was only able to remember how my mom made apple Kompott. Simmer pots are so nice because they fill the whole house with an amazing smell.

What is on your Bucket list for November??
